By weird I mean it feels like there's adrenaline in my lower jaw. It's not painful but it puts me in panic mode. I sometimes experience a popping sensation so maybe it's TMJ? The worst part is I think I aggravate the problem because I can't stop poking and prodding and then it almost feels numb and tingly, like there's pressure there even though I'm not touching it anymore. I leave the other side of my face alone and there's no weird feeling there, never has been. People tell me it feels weird because I keep touching it but I wouldn't be touching it if it didn't feel weird! My right side is where I am most tense/tight in the neck and shoulders and I don't know if that's related to the weird tension, adrenaline feeling in the jaw. Does anyone experience anything remotely similar? It comes and goes and like I said, it feels like fight or flight chemicals in my jaw! It's near-impossible to describe :(
