Ear infection - Medication

Hi Guys,

Been a long time since I've been on here

Lately I've developed an ear infection, I have been to the doctors about it and have been given Sofradex ear drops

Now for some reason my anxiety is kicking in about taking them, worried I'm going to have a severe allergic reaction.

I have had reactions to antibiotics before, two types in fact. Penicillin and Erythromycin.
So now I find myself stuck between a rock and a hard place about something totally small and irrelevant.

Anaphylaxis fear, wouldn't wish this on anyone.

How bad were your reactions before? Did you voice your concerns to your doctor?

Since you'd had reactions to medications in the past, if they were fairly severe, I'd call your doctor up before taking the meds, both for your peace of mind and to play it safe.

It's probably totally fine, though. :)
