Hi everyone,
I have suffered with Body dismorphia since I was 18, I am now 63.
It concerns eye bags which I perceive to get worse daily. I am having CBT for this but seem unable to engage with it at the moment.
I have been okay for a year and have not had to medicate, but the tragic loss of a friend has triggered it again with avengeance.
I have had to return to taking 20mg Citalopram, with all it's usual awful side effects.
I am urinating for England, and am getting really worried about it. I have lost over a stone in weight and am loosing more daily. It is horrendous. I am eating loads but still loosing weight.
I am also having problems sleeping and this has been going on for weeks.
I am 5 weeks in with the Citalopram, and wondered if these side effects will pass.
Any help or reassurance any one could give me would be greatly appreciated.
Sophie ☺
