Would a fbc show cancer ?

Would a full blood count show cancer im worried about oc at the mo because of my symtpoms :( and going for bloods tomoz

Your GP would have asked for a specific CA 125 blood test to test for ovarian cancer markers. An FBC is just an overall screen and would show up anaemia, white blood cell problems etc. If you're not having a CA 125 test then your GP isn't looking for OC.

I've had that one before last sept which came back normal they offered to do it again today but I sed I didn't want to as the waiting to get the result is terrible and it can give u false positives which if It came back high I wud be a wreck if u see what I mean it's not a reliable test x
