Hi everyone, I am a 20 year old female who is new to HA and the community of NMP.
I have been coughing for about a week now. The coughing isn't too violent and I'm not coughing anything up, except very small amounts of phlegm occasionally. I do not have a fever and pretty much feel fine except for the coughing. The coughing seems to be a little better today and subsides at night (it's never interfered with my sleep). It seems to be a pretty deep cough sometimes, if that makes sense. I also have been having some trouble breathing and it sometimes feels like there's something partially blocking my air supply. I don't have a runny nose or anything like that. I'm very worried it's pneumonia and I know it's rare for pneumonia to cause serious problems or death, but there seem to be so many stories of young people dying from it suddenly.
I'm wondering if I should go to the doctor or try to get a chest x-ray. Any advice would be so, so appreciated.
