esa renewal

Hi everyone :yesyes:Ive just joined the group. Hope im posting in right place lol . Id like to know if anyone knows anything about esa . Ive just been awarded pip for ten yrs. However ive been on esa for three years. The support group. Does anyone no how long esa lasts and when I will have to do a renewal medical for it. Thanks x

Hello. Yes, you have posted in the right place.

I too am receiving P I P and before that, got on to ESA.

Did you/have you received a letter from DWP and/or medical report to say how long you'll be on ESA for?

Think it was on my Medical Report, where it said how long I'll be on ESA for.

It is worrying me already, when the time will come to renew, because I no longer have a Support Worker who can represent me and provide a supporting letter.

Hi thanks for replying. It didnt say on my award letter or anything how long my esa would last for. A lot people told me longest you can get is 3 yrs. Ive stopped getitng a cpn and a support worker as well. Try not to worry too much because if you are on pip and you tell them then I think that may help our cases. Cheers x
