Chest and back pain

I've been doing well over the past few months, my health anxiety has gone right down but something happened last night that has me worrying again.

I got woken up during the night with a really bad pain right where my heart is and on my back as well. The pain was probably worse on my back but now I'm scared.

I've had chest pain before with my anxiety but nothing like that. I did have a really stressful day and was anxious for other reasons so I don't know if that's why.

It only lasted a few minutes and not had anything else since.

I'm not sure if I should be worried about it or see if it happens again.

Probably a muscular issue rather than anything related to the heart. Typically, pain caused by a heart issue gets worse upon exertion, it would be unusual for an ongoing coronary issue to get worse on resting, aside from it being a full blown heart attack of course, which it clearly wasn't.

I would see your doctor if it keeps up or worsens, but I really don't think you should worry yourself too much.
