Punch biopsy results taking a long time..Cancer???

I had a punch biopsy done on two moles two weeks ago and my results are still not in. I have read that is not great news becuase that means further testing is being done which means it's most likely something ominous.
Anyone have any reassurances?? Experience.

It took 3 weeks for my friend's results to come through. It just depends how busy the lab is
