I wish I felt like I used to, I just want to feel normal again.
This is torture.
Sorry.
I wish I'd been treated back in 1991 when this first started. But then again what can be done for an agitated, constantly hysterical three year old? There was no PLAUSIBLE reason for a three year old to be behaving in that manner.

There are many reasons why 3 year olds can be constantly agitated and hysterical so I'm surprised that your behaviours weren't assessed then by a paediatric team.

I know! No-one treated it and now it has come to this.

It's never too late though. I know that you have a lot of issues to contend with and really feel that you should maybe consider having a full psychological assessment in order to assess how a specialist team could help you.

You've been through all the medical tests and have drawn a blank. I'm pretty sure that your GP has suggested anxiety issues but I may be wrong? I know that there is also the added "ingredient" of using alcohol to manage your anxiety so there are many issues which need professional help.

I wish you the very best of luck and hope that taking things forward via the psychological route-should you decide to- really improves the quality of your life which must be pretty miserable at the moment

Attitudes in the 90's were different to today, despite it not being that long ago. I know what you mean, I wish I was treated when I had panic attacks as a teenager because it could have avoided *this* happening, but the past is in the past. Asking why something wasn't done over 20 years ago will not change what is in the present. We have to accept what we have in front of us and if we don't like it WE have to do something about it.
