I normally go to sleep around 12 am but went to sleep at 2am because of anxiety. Woke up again around 4:30am unable to go back to sleep because of anxiety. My heart feels weird and my mind keeps racing and gets worse when I try to sleep.

It is now 4:55am and I don't see how I can sleep. Tiredness makes me more anxious, but anxiety stops me from sleeping well. It's a vicious cycle I can't break out of. :(

I have the same problem currently...it's anxiety so either take some meds before bed, or just accept that you will sleep worse until your anxiety subsides. It's nothing dangerous...

Hypo48, I want to accept it's nothing dangerous, but with how I feel today I'm not sure.

I ended up going back to sleep around 6am and woke up around 8am. In total that would be 4.5 hours of sleep overnight. I'm of course tired but that tiredness makes all my anxiety symptoms/sensations feel worse than they normally do. :(

I still have a lot of the work day to get through too.
