Sore on groing- freaking out

Today I noticed a red, tender sore running along my left hand side groin line. It is right where my "fold" of skin is on my thigh. When I checked again, I can see another one (not as bad) on my right hand side too!!!
This has sent my anxiety into overdrive... Someone help!!!!!

This may sound odd but could it be due to heat? I do get quite sore in the groin area sometimes in the summer but I am quite overweight and of course I don't know your situation.
