Lump in leg!

Help - I have an unusual lump in the back of my lower leg. About a month ago, I fell over and bruised the area, but a couple of weeks ago, I realised there is a lump below the skin which feels quite tender. It's nothing like any other bruise I have ever had, and why is it still hurting after a month? I'm worried there's something more wrong with me. Should I go to the doctor, or just wait and see if it gets better?!

Thanks for any advice. I need to stop panicking!

i would go doctors,not because i think theres anything wrong, but you will then get the reassurance that you are fine,and not worry!reassurance is the best way,don,t worry un-neccesarly(sp????)

p.s i know that sometimes my daughters have had lumps if they,ve fallen down i think some places on the body take longer than others!

Lumps in the leg after a bruise take ages to go away, but still see the doc if it worries you.

[miss diagnosis]

my son had this big lump at the back of his knee cap so i took him to the hospital. he got a scan and it turns out its just a cyst.they are not even gonna remove it. it seems to be getting smaller on its own anyway so dont worry. keep an eye on it for a week or two, if its not going down get it looked at but at worst its probably the same things. its called a bakers cyst and its really common
