Short throbbing pain right side neck

Im sure ive had this before briefly just cant quite recall when.. Was at PC and had a sudden throbbing type ache right side neck below jaw.. It didn't last long and afterwards felt the ache came from just below collarbone. Anyone experienced this or know what it is ??

I too get throbbing (feels like something bubbling) in my neck. I notice it more when anxious, doctor says it's linked as we have lots of nerves and muscles in neck that will cause this feeling. It's a horrible feeling though and my mind races thinking what could it be, funny how I've come to notice it more when stressed x

Thank you for reply worrier.. I think it was from my SCM muscle ( over typing)!!.. I do have a lot of muscular tension going on.It was from behind ear,bony part down side of neck and has ended up just below my collar bone as a niggle..

I get this a lot. I think the best thing to do is practice deep breathing. Hypnotherapy sounds really help me to relax muscles and slow breathing which really helps with my anxiety.

Thanks Laura.. You are right..I was tense most of day after that episode, hypervigilant as they say.. Im same when I have a whoozy turn from tight neck,shoulders.. Hate that feeling.
