Ativan not living up to potential?

so I've recently have be prescribed Ativan and Paxil to take along with my thyroid meds and the Paxil I havent really seen a difference but this is my second night taking the Ativan .5 and I feel more relaxed than I was but I can still feel the anxiety like its about to come on and the chest pain that comes with it and have been getting super nauseous. anyone else go through this?

I would imagine that it's early days but ativan is a fast acting benzo, you may need to increase the dosage, so to be sure, ask your doctor.
