Blood test without alcohol disinfectant..

Hi i just want to know if when you have your blood taken that it is a must that the area is cleansed with one of the wipes.. I have read on line that it inst a must have but I just want others opinions.

I'm not 100% sure but I would say that they didn't cleanse last time I went for bloods x

I have had my blood taken 3 times and never have been cleansed before it was taken.

Had mine taken other day and no wiping :)

I'm allergic to alcohol so they never use the wipes on me.
