Very worried, signed up for a new gp surgery and my resting heart rate was 92bpm opposed to my boyfriends which was 62bpm.
Worried now that I have an underlying heart condition as have family history of angina and heart attacks.

Probably some white coat syndrome with the new doc, being preggo and all.

Plus there are many other factors such as fitness. If your BF is fit his RHR will be far lower than someone doesn't exercise.

Did your GP see an issue?

My mum doesn't anxiety disorders but finds her heart rate increases at the surgery. She mentioned this to the nurse she was seeing who said it was very common.

Normal resting heart rates can be from 60-100bpm, give or take due to circumstances. You're fine :)

I concur plus the white coat syndromme always raises your BP and doctors allow for that. Over say ten to fifteen minutes at the doctors you will find that usually with every reading the BP drops. Don't worry.

I have just taken my bp/pulse at home and my bp is 115/75 and my pulse is 69. The minute I go into a medical setting my pulse goes up to 150bpm and my bp is highish as well. This is very bad white coat syndrome. Many years ago Drs wore white coats and it was said the sight of someone in a white coat triggered such anxiety your pulse and bp went up. The saying has stuck!

Compared to me 92bpm is very good!

Hi guys. Thank you.
My anxiety has really started to over take again recently.. Am currently awaiting more cbt.
Ever since I found out I'm pregnant in July I have been terrible again in a right state.
Need to get it sorted before I spiral out of control again
Hope everyone is ok
