Vibrating (twitching) sensation around sternum

I don't know if it's because I'm overly aware of my heartbeat and my body sometimes but this past two nights when I've been trying to fall asleep I've felt what can only be described as twitches or pulses around my sternum area. Has anyone had this before?

Yeah. It is something you've only just noticed and paid attention to. Everybody will get this because you're right, it's your heart. I noticed the same thing when I went to bed and I also saw my heart beat under my left pec when looking in the mirror.

All perfectly normal things but our anxiety picks them out and views them as a threat. You're fine. Don't worry.
