Gas poisoning??

I was using a gas stove to cook and the burner was emitting a strong smell of gas. I had it on for about 25 mins and was inhaling the gas assuming that it was fine. Now I'm extremely nauseous and so worried I have gas poisoning. Should I go to the hospital? Could this be serious?

I used two burners. I thought the first one was lit, but realized it was not and smelled like gas so I switched to the other one which did light but again smelled like gas. I have the windows open and the gassy smell is now gone. I'm still feeling nauseous but a bit better. If I had gas poisoning would I have other symptoms?
