Floaters are quite normal

Yes they're normal
I've never known life without them so I have no idea what isn't normal.
I've had my eyes examined heaps of times and it's always good

I've had floaters for years and recently they have become a lot worse but I recently went to my optician and both retinas are perfect. You're fine.

Retinal detachment looks like a 'shower' of floaters out of nowhere, light flashes and blind spots in your vision.
