View Full Version : Crazy, stressful and scariest few weeks

So, over the past few weeks, I've been working 40 hours per week, had a new job interview, and haven't had a minute to myself!
My anxiety levels have went from bad to worse, lots of panic attacks, chest pains, heart palpitations mainly.
I woke up on Friday morning, started the day off with a panic attack and a racing heart to the point where I said, enough!
Made an appointment and visited the doctor, who advised I go to A&E to get things checked out.

They did an ECG, and a Troponin test and another blood test (Troponin test measures damaged/dead cells in the heart).
Such a panicky time in the hospital I had, I was called after 2 hours to speak to the doctor, I followed the line to the 'Major Emergency Room', I thought, this is it, I'm in here for a while!
Panic kicked in! But I remembered I was in the safest place.

Anyway, the doctor came round, and all the tests were fine, he said my results are healthy, I look healthy, sound healthy, and he told me I have no cause for concern for my heart.....

Such an awful day, but with a happy ending.

Anyone with a similar story?
