Hello everyone.
I have been having issues with anxiety, panic attacks and palpitations for about a year now. I am making progress, partly due to using this site and realising that I am not alone! However the lingering issue is with driving. I have a fear of a palpitation becoming something more serious while I am driving and causing a crash, this is particularly the case if my young son is in the car. I have had many ECGs and a 48 hour Holter ,plus the blood test they do to check heart damage, a chest x ray and all is fine so in my sensible head I know this isn't going to happen,but we all know that anxiety isn't rational!! I also know that if any of the doctors I've seen were worried they would have banned me from driving.
I was just wondering if any of you had any suggestions / ways of coping with this? :huh:
