I may be needing to have a procedure done with conscious sedation. I am absolutely terrified. I just met with an anesthesiologist and he is willing to put me on an iv with remifentanil. I told him I absolutely cannot handle versed (amnesia) or propofol. Has anyone had experience with remifentanil or having an office procedure done without conscious sedation and only painkillers? I am more afraid of the conscious sedation than I am the pain and procedure
