Stove burner on all night?

My mom accidentally left the gas stove burner on all night. The flame was still on when I woke up this morning. I feel okay, but one of my cats was throwing up early this morning. Could there be carbon monoxide in the house? I'm really worried about having carbon monoxide poisoning

it will be fine unless the stove is faulty (which you would have found out about before now)

as for the cat he could have eaten soething doodgy, had a hairball or even just got t hot.
