I'm going through benzo wd so I dunno if it is that but noticed the leaflet says Propanalol can cause insomnia. But it goes away. After a long time or quite early after starting it? I had zero sleep last night and just got up at 2 to watch tv all night. Even now I feel mega alert and realise just how much Lorazepam was making me sluggish and half here.

I weaned off of Diazepam once before but went on Lorazepam for two years and then back to Diazepam for a month before giving up benzos. It's a rough ride but Propranolol is helping a bit I suppose. I take it 3 x 40mg a day.
