Pregnancy blood test at the hospital

Hello. Would a blood test to detect a pregnancy hormone at AnE show anything else? Like blood count etc. I'm sure the nurse said it would show any inflammation in the body. I'm not sure if the blood test was a regular standard test.

Depends if they are testing for anything else they would probably look at blood count and if there was an infection

I would imagine they would have done a range of blood tests and not just a single blood test. ESR and CRP are the usual inflammation blood tests. Its usual to do routine bloods withih would include blood count etc.
