Heart beats irregularly

Hey all,

I have had this for a long time, where I have palpitations and and like my heart missing a beat ( feels like a bubble inflating ready to pop) but when I ask someone else to check physically all is fine.

Does any one else experience this? I literally takes my breath away at times.

I have experienced this my gp says its anxiety and panic and ressured me that everything thing is fine maybe that's what is causing yours

Hi Adam, I have this too. I've also been checked by the GP and cardiologist in the past and there's nothing wrong with my heart. Anxiety definitely makes them worse. Like others on here say, the majority of people get them, it's that we notice them more because with our anxiety we are so intuned with our hearts and every little sensation that we feel. They're a horrible feeling though that's for sure. I keep myself distracted and try to not focus on them. That does help a lot.
