hi guys,
People here often raise the issue of getting a prescription for it in some areas, due to its cost.
Well, there was a high court ruling yesterday which should make it easier for cheaper generics to come onto the market, which should in theory make it easier for UK patients to get hold of it.
There is coverage here:
http://uk.reuters.com/article/2015/09/10/us-pfizer-britain-lyrica-idUKKCN0RA1G120150910
There is also a good FT story which you can find if you google news 'Pfizer pregabalin', where it states that the company, Pfizer, was criticised by a judge.
The issue is mostly around its use for pain (90% of cases, higher than I'd have thought), but is still relevant for its use for GAD, etc.
