Very anxious about nodule on my son's leg

Hi. I feel that my health anxiety is transferring into worries over my children and I'm finding it very hard not to be panicked by everything. I've had a thing about skin issues recently and yesterday noticed a nodule on my 15 year old son's leg. It's only appeared over the past few weeks and is almost like a little wart but I'm so worried its a rare form of skin cancer. How do I get this into perspective as I'm annoying him by looking at it all the time!

My brother used to have that exact thing! It was just a wart, no big deal at all. He even had it in the same place as your son, right on the leg! He kept catching it though with his jeans so he got it removed.

Thanks for the replies. Hopefully it's just a wart. I'm trying to get him to the doctor this week. He's not bothered but I'm anxious about it.

That's a wart, loads of kids have them on their knees. Dr will prescribe some stuff for it
