These are two things that are massively helping me and and I am sure they would fall under another name but they have helped so much.

I have been having the most irrational thought, existential, terrifying you name it. I spent nearly all month with my hand by my mouth to check I was breathing. I felt like I was suffocating everytim I left the house. In a space of less than two weeks I can now drive, walk around supermarkets, sit in resteraunts because I am really working on these two things.

An example would be I would shower in a state of panic thinking any second second i' feel depersonalised or like I can't breathe. Now I say for the next ten minutes i'll just have a nice relaxing shower. Deal with the thoughts when i'm out.

Remaining neutral means that you don't have to fight your feelings or force a positive thought out. So when I get crazy existial thoughts I dont react like that changes anything, I just sort of think 'meh'

Got to add though tablets have helped massively to calm me down and gave me the space to start challenging my behaviours.

You sound to be doing really well. :)

What you say makes sense. It's a matter of retraining our brains to stop the old thought patterns,

Good luck

Yes definately, before I was battling my thoughts constantly. They affected every minute of my life. Now when i'm doing something and my brain throws the scariest thoughts imaginable at me I will say to myself 'I don't care, i'm staying put'
