Hi All

I found a lump in my groin last night, where the crease it. Its less than a cm long and is tender but I can only feel it in certain positions. I googled (I know!) and now I am convinced its cancer from the pelvic area which has spread. I had a pelvic ultrasound in June and all normal. I am going the Drs today at 4pm but I am so worried...............

It's possibly a lymph node that has come up as your body fights something.

It's also possibly a ligament or just a plain old lipoma. I found a lump in my groin a while ago. It's on the right side, just above the crease where the ligament runs through. It's a lot bigger on one side than the other. Made me a bit nervous but it's nothing to worry about. Our bodies are full of lumps and bumps.

I have a lump on my shin, one in my back, one on my neck, another one above my clavicle... Scary to find them, but anyone that looks for them could find them.

For sure get it checked out as it's concerning, but given the size of it I wouldn't be too concerned. So yes, have a Dr. look at it, keep an eye on it for changes (don't play with it too much, if it's a lymph node doing that will make it worse!) and then try to relax.

Panic after waiting and observing (by eye, not by prodding) for about 2 weeks or so. If it doesn't go down by then, see a doctor.
