Hello! My name is becci and i am only fifteen. :DEmetaphobia has ruined teenage life! Being fifteen and farly popular i am invited too many partys but what do i do? If someone throws up infront of me i may never be able to talk to them again! Being with drunk people makes me generally angry which has gradualy made me angry for other reasons. I cannot fully understand this phobia. It all started, well i think, when i was about 4 and i slipped in someones vomit in town, obviously some drunk mans from the night before, and i just cried and cried. One my fiend was sick infront of me when i was about 7 and i didnt talk to her for about 7 months. I refuse to drink alcahol. Last night was my prom which was really nice and i had a great time because everyone (pretty much) was sober but then came the after party which was luckily in my village so i had an easy escape. I lasted a couple of hours and the people started gettin ill so i just ran away and cried! i always thought i was weird and i never wanted to tell anyone but now i have realisedWHY SHOULD I HIDE IT so now i tell people why i dont drink and all of my friends are fine with it. I used to go to partys and buy alcahol and pretend to be drunk but poor the alcahol down the sink. Although therapy would be good having emetaphobia has made me grow up so much whilst my freinds are out getting wasted and end up in hospital i stick at home. its so awesome haveing people that are the same as me i always though i was an outcast and very different and its really nice to know that there are people out there that experience the same difficulties as i do!![:I][Sigh...]

thanx!
