I've had pain around my ovaries for the last 3 weeks, been to GP who basically said it was my age and not to worry unless it persisted each month. I was due to start my period on Saturday and it's still not here. I'm now panicking that the delay is linked to the pain and there's something badly wrong. I'm 44 so its mot inconceivable that it's the start of menopause but I'm not sleeping because of it. It's now 5 weeks since the start of my last period. 2 days after it finished I had a bit of spotting which the doctor dismissed. Any advice????
