about a month ago, i noticed that i have 2 clear bumps swell up whenever i eat sour/hot/spicy food. the bubbles will flatten a few hours later. The bumps are right next to each other on my soft palate. I went to 2 ENTs, and 1 Oral Surgeon. They think it's irritated/inflamed minor salivary gland, and there is nothing they can do except wait for it to heal or remove the lesion where the bumps swell up. 5 weeks past, that area has not healed. the bumps still come and go with eating not too much, but within a week or few days time. I called the first ENT and now he said he want to remove it. I'm not afraid of the procedure, but I'm worried to sick with the waiting for the biopsy part. How can i distinguish whether it's a mucocele or minor salivary gland tumor? picture attached when they swell up after eating.

thanks,
