I've had a sore throat for over 6 weeks now. Been to doctors twice, he is not concerned, looked in throat, no other tests done.
It sometimes feels like there's a lump in the back of my throat and swallowing can be painful. Low pain scale. Sometimes there is phlegm on back of throat, not coming from chest and is clear.
I'm also needing to burp quite a lot, don't know if it's connected.
I've had ear problems in past and under ent, next apps November.
I've had lump in throat feeling before but not for this long.
I also had an op under general 3 weeks ago and a tube was inserted down throat.
I'm trying my best not to think the worst, has anyone else had this for this amount of time?
