Hi there,
I'm in my third session of REBT (Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy)and i'm just wondering does anyone know how effective this is or if it is like CBT? Does anyone do it?
Thanks

People will forget what you said
People will forget what you did
But people will never forget how you made them feel

I believe it is the first form of CBT. For success I cannot comment. However how many sessions does the therapist suggest.

Yes, REBT is the forerunner of current CBT.
It was theorized by Albert Ellis in about 1953 and has had several models of CBT based upon it since and has influenced psychology ever since.
All good solution focused stuff - hope it helps you make lasting changes..
