I went to see my specialist yesterday.
All morning I was jittering and wobbling - You know the usual stuff ...
"How am I going to get there? How am I going to get back home?"
"What if the kids play up? Oh god I'm going to be sectioned under the mental health act."
"Oh I can't go, I feel sick ..."
Anyway 3 O'clock arrived, my friend collected me, we got the kids from school, then she dropped me off at the outpatients.
I then bribed my kids with goodies from Toys R Us if they behaved.
We waited for nearly an hour, and then it was time for us to go in.
I was told to keep taking the medication, and to make sure made an effort to go out alone, and not just in the garden.
I was told I had made an improvement and to take the bad days as they come and forget about them. Come back in 4 months, who knows, you may even get discharged!
Job done.
I phoned a taxi to collect us from the hospital, and take us to the bank (so we had some cash to pay the fair), the taxi dropped us off at Toys R us. One shopping trip and a Mc Donalds tea later, we phoned for a taxi to come and take us back home.
So I guess it was successful in a way [^]
I did all the things I was worried about. Coped with the nerves, and made it back home in one piece.
Love, light and Best wishes
