Lyme Disease - need peace of mind

Hi,

I recently read an article online about Lyme Disease. I'm sure I'm being paranoid but I developed a circular rash on my body that expanded in size. I was told at the time it was ringworm which didn't make sense as the rash wasn't painful or itchy. This was over SIX years ago! I have had none of the symptoms; joint paint, muscular issues/paralysis, headaches etc

The questions is; can I have this without having the normal symptoms for such a long period of time?

Hi hun, I was recently bit by an insect and had the same concern, I was assured by medical practitioners that I would have known if it had been a tick that bit me.

I am sure after six years, you would know if you had Lyme's by now. The symptoms usually begin a few weeks or up to 6 months after being bitten so you would definitely know by now. I got bit by a tick last year and even though I removed it pretty much instantly and didn't have the rash afterwards, I was very scared about Lyme's too.
