Eaten a bit of cheese had a funny smell?

I had two fork fulls of a cheese tonight and it smelt horrible I never realised until after I had the two mouth fulls but I binned the rest. It was in date will I get ill from it? It was a musty unclean sort of smell off it?

To be honest Phil, cheese can sometimes smell quite pungent, even if it's been in the fridge for a couple days. Either that or you bought cheese that is supposed to smell bad.

Doubt you'll get sick from it. Even if you do, you'll have one unpleasant trip to the loo and that'll be the end of it.

You will be fine. Maybe a good clear out on the loo, but even that is doubtful.x
