Help! Left eye is smaller and droopy

HiLast night my left eye started becoming very itchy and irritating. I woke up this morning and the eye has became smaller and droopy then the other eye. It is very itchy and blood shot.
I am really worried and have no idea what this may be. Does anybody have any ideas??
If it does not clear up in a few days I will go to the doctors.

Difficult to diagnose without seeing it but sounds like conjunctivitis . you need to see gp to get prescription strength chloramphenicol not the rubbish stuff you can buy over the counter . It's very easy for it to spread from one eye to the other so hygiene is very important . Throw away face cloth if you use one and avoid rubbing eye and touching the other. Need to sort it out asap the longer you leave it the worse it gets and goes on for much longer. Throw away any make up that you have been using on that eye otherwise you'll just re infect it when you use again
