Hello!

Anxiety is a crippling and debilitating condition that many people have to deal with (myself included). Coping with it day by day can be a real struggle. The idea that one day I could be free of it sometimes feels like the idea of me climbing Mount Everest: I'm not strong enough to climb it; I can't even see the top!

I'd forgotten not all victories are about saving the universe

But moments of light shine through the darkness. I like to call these 'little victories', moments where those anxious feelings are overcome, even if only temporarily. This is where you come in.

I am working on a new Anxiety related website called MyOwnEverest, and I would love to be able to share people's stories of their own little victories. Any story will do; it could be something like the time you went to a dinner with workmates and didn't completely fall apart, or maybe you finally went for that drink with that boy you like. Any occasion where normally anxiety would take over, but you said "not today!"

If it was a big step to you, then I'd like to hear about it. If anyone is interested in sharing please drop me a line.

i'm certainly interested in looking at the site when it's all completed.

think it will be a helpful tool for a lot of people here- seeing that positives can still happen, despite how you are feeling
