Health anxiety lung cancer

I've had a cough for about 4 weeks now that isn't going away. It comes on worse during the evening/night and I'm convinced I have lung cancer. My health anxiety stops me from going to doctors as I'm too scared so I'm just a wreck hoping it will all disappear.
I get a tight chest, then wheezing, then I have to cough which brings up clear mucus. If I take a puff of an inhaler it gets better for a while.
I haven't been diagnosed with anything and was meant to have all the tests but just couldn't go through with it.
Anyone else have these issues or symptoms?
