Can the stress from anxiety actually cause a stroke or heart attack?

Hey I'm 19 year old and I'm terrified that all these panic attacks and anxiety attacks this year have damaged my heart. Does anybody know if constant anxiety can cause a stroke or heart attack?

It is always recommended to get yourself checked out to conclusively say you have anxiety. If you get checked out and your heart is healthy, then your heart can tolerate an incredible amount of stress from anxiety. It's all a matter of how much discomfort you are willing to tolerate mentally. Physically, you will tolerate very well.

I've had several ekgs does that count as being "checked out".

I would say it does. Sounds like your heart is fine.
