Small spot in head

I've got a small spot on my scalp . I've had it for a few months.its not going away, worried it might be cancer. I've got lots of hair so difficult to see, but managed . It looks like a small pimple or cyst. Help please ..

I am a hairdresser and I can assure you that a small zit/pimple/spot what ever you want to call it is more than likely down to a blocked hair/scalp follicle.

just like any wear else on our body our scalp can produce natural oils and if it is excessive it can cause spots to appear.

have you been picking at it? does it feel sore? best solution is to go and by some tea tree oil or shampoo and treat with that and do not use conditioner for a few days to dry your scalp out and I guarantee it will disappear.

Please try not to worry but if you are worried go and see your GP.
