Hey Eddie

Yes thats so right, it is incredibly hard to put it into practice.

I found I had to stop having panics which for me was easier than deal with the symptoms and feeling of being in total panic.

Learning not to panic was not easy either but slowly and steadily I learnt to not allow my thoughts to spiral and create the panic to start with..

Remember - Energy followsThoughts and its the thoughts you have that create the panic. Our nervous systems respond to what we tell them, tel them we're scared and they will produce all the responses that we feel as panic

Tell me about it! I'm sick of being told that 'nothing bad will actually happen' and you can get through it. The PS itself is bad enough- the physical symptons are real and whatever you believe at the time is your reality.

It seems to me that some people want to strap me down and force me into a terrifying situation because the panic will eventually go off and then I'll be fine....

Sigh.. people don't understand the thoughts/feelings/fears unless they've had them themselves. :(

Thanks for the chance to rant! Lucy
