Okay so I found a splinter that was very thin and around 1.5cm long on a popsicle stick (it was really skinny like 1mm wide) and as I was holding it to see it it kind of flipped and I don't know where it went. For some reason I'm scared it went into my mouth because I was holding it close to my face but I never felt anything and washed my mouth out. I don't know how likely that is but anyway. I'm really scared it might puncture my esophagus or an artery. I can't stop thinking that I'm going to die. And I found out your stomach can't digest wood either so it's not going to dissolve. I really feel so scared and stupid now because I read stories about people dying from swallowing fishbones and toothpicks etc.
