Trazodone and nightmares?

Hello all

Just wondered if anyone had very vivid nightmares on Trazodone?

I had a belter of a dream last night, all about school and the woman who has helped me get into this state :weep: and what made it even worse is I didn't wake up out of it. It lasted all night.

Anyone else had this too?

I have been on Trazodone twice, I remember vivid dreams were part of the start up effect but they passed after a couple of weeks on the drug. I used to sleep so well on Trazodone!

How long have you been taking them and at what dose?

I'm on 50mg at the moment, have been on them since 5th November. Doc says I can increase up to 150mg over time if needed

The dreams will pass if you go on the higher dose as you'll be in a deeper sleep, well that's what I found
