Timeout on games [Archive]

Just to warn all you avid game players on here that there is a problem with the games timing out so you may get an enormous score and when you try to save it - wham it dies on you.

Alex will look at this once he has sorted all the other issues out so watch this space.

Er yeah I have noticed I slaughtered krakers today with a score of 148,000 and it never registered im gutted but i am not giving up so Alex please fix it so I can see my name in lights pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

I have been playing games tonight and have not managed to reproduce this problem.

When playing the games you will notice that every 10 mins or so the browser progress bar appears in the status bar, if you are using IE. Are people getting this?

Also have people set 'Remember me' when they login?

Make sure you are logged in and the "remember me" box was checked.

I had the timeout problem before I did the remember me thing but haven't had it happen since I checked the box. I'm not real good at any of the games so I probably don't play them as long tho:rolleyes:
Don't know if you need to know what browser I am using but just in case I use Mozilla firefox.

The very first time I tried it lastnight, I got a Royal Flush straight away. My bet was only $1 :emot-crying:

The only tip I can give you, it to unhold the Straight Draws. They only pay peanuts, and rarely come up.

As for the Doubling, I never bother. Doesn't seem to work.

Dont suppose you know what the 'Mini-Bonus' is? I cant figure out if there is any pattern to payout.

Texas No Limit Hold'em is my game. :D

I was coming to the same conclusion with the straights. Doubling is risky but I think it's worth doing when for example you have a hand of all red cards, but I still reckon there's a bug with doubling on red, black works fine.

With the mini bonus you get 50 points for a pair of picture cards or aces (if its not a winning hand) and only seems to pay out after you reach the maximum (500), but keeps building up in the background. I think it pays when you get a picture/ace pair and another picture/ace, e.g. Pair of aces and a king... could be wrong tho.

Maybe a better version of poker like Ross said, Texas Holdem or something. Or maybe some other card games (anything but patience tho!).

decompile flash (Oh did I really say that !!)
Look at main action script and find its looking for a config file
Clear browser cache
Play game online
Check browser cache and nick config file
Upload config file to NMP server

ALL WORKING :-)

Thanks for the new games, the poker is ace (:sign20: ) , just hope my score submits today.

The chess scoring doesn't seem to work tho. I played the first game and was about to lose so I submitted the score and got 10. Then the next game I won and submitted but said my score wasn't high enough for the high score chart, lol. Won again in 15 moves, but score still wasn't high enough for the score chart, :WTF: .

I wouldn't exactly call myself a poker buff, I'm one of those cheeky players that thinks they're bluffing then wins with a strait I didn't see. :p Count me in tho.
