I am about to start work in a mid sized supermarket chain...have read threads about till terror....

i have no experience except I know people well who work in this chain....
is it not a case for being calm and not being rushed by customers...and asking for support etc.....

Hi x I don't know about till terror but I've worked for a large supermarket for twenty years and I've always enjoyed being on the till. I've met some lovely people - you sometimes get regular customers. Just keep calm - you have no need to rush as long as you're polite and tell the customers what you're doing it will be fine - good luck in your new job x
