View Full Version : Heart Attack fear

Hey guys, me again :(

So, I had the results to both my EKG and Echocardiogram last week, and both came out clear and showed my heart is working perfectly fine. The Doctor said the palpitations I experience are nothing to worry about, as there is nothing wrong with my heart or the way it functions.

So this past week, I have eagerly returned to exercising which I sorely missed not doing out of fear of having a heart attack. The thing is I am still terrified I will have one, especially after a workout.

Obviously my Doctor is not worried, but I still get mild spikes in my left chest region and chest tightness, which I also believe may be due to my anxiety problems - but there is always that fear of 'what if it's not anxiety'.

I don't know. I always feel I am overreacting, but the fear and worry does take over your life too much sometimes. I know I need to make it through this fear, but how can I do this quickly?

Many thanks, and hope all is well with you guys :D
