Christmas Panic

I hate this time off year, I panic about buying presents, I even panic about decorations. To top it all of u I am a recovering alcoholic and seeing ever one drinking upsets me.

There will be a lot of us who understand this one, Dan. Last Xmas we had a support thread on the GAD board and it's started getting bumped already this year. Come and join us for support.

I think we spend a lot of time just trying to be stable and Xmas is a time that brings along a load of things that force us out of our comfort zone.

Change is a majority feature of all anxiety disorders and it comes in many forms, some quite subtle.

I agree with Terry. I find Christmas time very stressful, too!

I'm with you guys. I used to love Christmas but now it's quite the opposite. I find it stressful as well. It was after Christmas last year that my latest anxiety issue started. I'm trying to not worry about it flaring up just after Christmas again.
